The Nordic Tattoo is the world's leading directory of Nordic, Norse, and Viking tattoo artists. We built it to solve a simple problem: finding an artist who genuinely specialises in this tradition, wherever you are in the world, shouldn't be hard.
Every artist listed here has applied and been reviewed by our team. Clients get a trusted place to find real specialists. Artists get a dedicated profile, a pin on our interactive map, and a home within a community that takes this craft seriously.
Built by Northern Black
The Nordic Tattoo is run by Northern Black, a UK organisation rooted in Viking and Nordic culture and tattoo artistry. It grew out of our own search for artists who could do this tradition justice, and the realisation that there was no single place to find them.
Home of the Jorvik Tattoo Moot
We also organise the Jorvik Tattoo Moot, the UK's biggest historical tattoo convention, held annually in York alongside the Jorvik Viking Festival. Many of the artists in our directory attend, and it's where this community comes together in person.

Listing is free. A profile takes minutes to set up and can be updated any time, no login required. Every application is reviewed before going live, so the directory stays a genuine showcase of specialists.
